If it gives me the opportunity to slow down from 25 to 20 and proceed through the green light without a ticket, then I actually like this better than zones that have a speed camera with no lights.

I go over the speed limit fairly regularly but running a red seems like a significantly more severe infraction to me. I’ve never run a red in my entire life. I would absolutely stop for this thing but I don’t always slow down for speed indicator signs.

Actually some cities have installed flashing yellow left arrow lights for this purpose. If red it’s a full stop and green a full go, if it’s flashing yellow means you can go when opposing traffic is clear.

What we need are traffic lights that can detect traffic coming or not coming for some distance down the road. If a green is being shown to an empty highway, then cycle the lights. I hate being stuck at a red left turn when the opposing traffic has a green and I can clearly see no cars for a mile.

You can see FRED in action in with what is by far the jauntiest free music ever to grace a 1:30 of a traffic light in action

So much this... I really don’t understand what their endgame is here. Their design language has gotten uglier and uglier with each passing generation.

Hell of an ad for this business though:

They don’t jump around with pompoms though, and weren’t grid girls phased out years ago?

Evidently, you have never watched much Nascar.

Now playing

No. It’s part of NASCAR and has been from the beginning. Nearly every driver in the sport has had to throw down at one point or another.

Based on photos  Mr Alvarez was as Latino as his victims and heavily tattooed,  I'm thinking cartel and would like to know his criminal record and how he paid for that Range Rover. While race may be a factor,  it will be intramural between Mexican and Guatemalan or similar and "white" on brown.

So should Tesla just stop improving it? Because Jalopnik would just love to write an snarky article about that. The reality is, the Model S stops damned well alongside everything except the most high performance competition. But that’s what the Model S is tested alongside. The real problem with the Model S has to do

Breaks only slow you down.

That’s just front rotors? I assume the Tesla kit includes all 4 rotors.

I don’t think the point of this video was to convince a potential GT3 buyer to buy a Z06 instead; it was to show how closely these cars perform to one another, despite going about achieving that performance a bit differently. Each has its strengths and its weaknesses. This comparison was honestly inevitable. There is a

remember when they had journalists with that level of access

this was my first thought as well, i fast forwarded to see the track times by the pro driver

VS

Agreed. I somehow feel like they aren’t real enthusiasts as well. I don’t know what it is about them but I get bored and don’t really care for their opinion. Maybe I’m just a hater.

I rarely make it through one of their vids. I dunno, I find them kinda pretentious.
