Good point. But even the not-as-heavy EVs do it to. A Model 3 LR does it in 4.6s. That’s basically the standard commuter car moving forward, and it will out accelerate the GR Corolla or Civic Type R.

4.3s to 60mph is blazing fast. I was just watching a comparison test of the Hyundai i30N and Subaru WRX and both were in the low 6s. This 8,800lb truck will basically leave those two ~300hp hot hatches for dead off any stoplight or highway drag race.
By those same standards every VW dealer has the right to sell Bugatti Chirons.
Hey what classy classic!
Henrik Fisker designs achingly beautiful cars, but apparently knows jack shit about running a company. Literally any of the traditional manufacturers will do well to set up Fisker as a design division while they take care of the pesky business of running the company and actually building the cars.
It’s “only” about the same size as an Escalade or Suburban, or if you prefer another comparison it has about the same sized footprint as a current F1 car.
IIRC the IS is still being produced, and in IS500 trim you can get pretty much the same engine as the RC-F. From what I’ve heard it handles a fair bit better than the RC as well.
Or two motorcycle engines, as was the basis of the Atom V8.
More like he drives in real life like he does in video games. When the stewards initially made calls to interpret the rules to-the-letter rather than to the spirit of the regulations, they essentially turned F1 into a videogame and Max took to it like a fish to water.
Group test time!
B7 RS4 is IMO one of the best interpretations of a V8 sedan ever. I’d put it right up there beside the E39 M5 and W124 E500.
Team O’Neil rally school actually did several tests on this and the 4x4s did stop in significantly shorter distances.
Meh.
Those are called EREVs and they’ve been gaining some traction in markets where the charging infrastructure is less than ideal.
Nah I think it’s cool. I’m glad we’re seeing actually interesting designs again instead of all cars being slightly scaled up/down copies of each other.
Doesn’t quite beat the record the LFA set. Out of production in 2012, last brand-new example was marked as sold by a dealer in 2023.
I remember riding my uncle’s quad a long time ago, but what really stands out about this article is the medical bills!
