The NSX just spent too long in development and when it came out it was a bit too late. It being a hybrid was supposed to bring it economy and performance together, but compare to two other cars in its price bracket:

IIRC Tesla has a supermajority voting requirement, so 67% of the shareholders need to vote him out. Shares are 42% institutional, 43% retail, with the remaining being insiders (mostly Musk).

Two-car garage with both using the same engine sounds like a cool exercise:

How do you boot the company’s biggest shareholder from the board?

He’s worth like half a billion. I think he’d rather part with some cash rather than the F1.

Large cars are safer for the occupants (presumably also the consumer you refer to), though not for pedestrians.

Remember the Hyundai Sport Mode case? Aside from the straight pipe which would be an automatic fail, a car like that might pass on a technicality so long as it has a normal mode that passes all noise regs.

But this gen was supposed to be when the STI finally switched to the FA motor. Unfortunately Subaru developed FOMO from all the Hybrid/EV hype and decided to cancel it in favor of something that has some form of electric drive, be that hybrid or EV.

Sure they took the Impreza name out of the WRX but that’s just an exercise in branding. The WRX, Levorg, and Crosstrek still share the same Impreza platform.

I don’t see how being told their car had been flooded could have made things any better. It’d just be added worry about something they could do nothing about while they were on the ship.

With the range extender option Cybertruck ends up with 173kWh. Hummer EV has 246kWh with 212 kWh usable.

I’m just glad I don’t have to deal with any of that. Summer tires all year ftw.

There is definitely a physical stop limiter there, but the whole setup is designed not to use them during regular operation. Kinda like you don’t want to use bump stops on a shock absorber every day.

Isn’t it generally better for longevity to do a soft stop rather than physically hit a stopper? The drive motor setup for the 718's spoiler is a pretty strong electric motor that turns a pinion gear against racks on either side. It’s probably less stressful on the teeth to do software stops rather than have a powerful

Yeah I was pretty skeptical of Cybertruck just a week ago, but watching the Cammissa/Pobst review has turned me around on it.

I guess if the owner is willing to paint his cybertruck and go without the brushed steel look repairs can be a lot cheaper. Just hammer the bent panel back into shape and smoothen with bondo or something...

Romain is an awesome dude, but (correct me if I’m wrong here) I don’t think he holds the Nurburgring record.

It actually is industry standard, at least in the USA. You can check the testing methodology from any major automotive magazine. I’ll link C&D and R&T:

Just to refresh everyone’s memory, but Shaq had a Smart car and used it to hustle around NYC. Maybe he still does?
