Yeah I was pretty skeptical of Cybertruck just a week ago, but watching the Cammissa/Pobst review has turned me around on it.

I guess if the owner is willing to paint his cybertruck and go without the brushed steel look repairs can be a lot cheaper. Just hammer the bent panel back into shape and smoothen with bondo or something...

Romain is an awesome dude, but (correct me if I’m wrong here) I don’t think he holds the Nurburgring record.

It actually is industry standard, at least in the USA. You can check the testing methodology from any major automotive magazine. I’ll link C&D and R&T:

Just to refresh everyone’s memory, but Shaq had a Smart car and used it to hustle around NYC. Maybe he still does?

Yeah he does three-day weekend training sessions driving a car in order to train for his Tuesday bike ride.

Whoa, a positive article on Jalopnik about enjoying a car? What is the world coming to?

I went to the original sources which indeed did not have them. The usage of [sic] here is actually incorrect, since [sic] is meant to be used when something is incorrect in the original and being left as-is. Considering both the original ad and statement were issued in the UK, where spellings with the extra u are

Why does “behaviour” need a [sic]? The spelling with a u is considered UK standard and is not incorrect.

Definitely EV. ICE requires a spark to set the fuel on fire, whereas lithium-ion batteries will ignite just from being punctured which has a chance of happening when you get into a crash.

I don’t see how it could have been caught on a walk-around.

Sport Trac was ahead of its time. One of the earlist crew cab short beds designed more for commuting comfort than outright cargo capacity. And it was really quite comfy. Despite that it’s still actually quite usable with the fancy tonneau cover and reconfigurable tailgate. I’ve hauled a bunch of stuff with it,

Yeah this. I don’t see the struggle. And really even traditional 4x4s would have some wheelspin on that kind of surface unless they’re triple locked.

In the video description he makes it sound like it was a skill issue, but as I see what happened the problem was really bad decision making. Even Valentino Rossi wasn’t going to ride himself out of the situation this guy put himself in.

Wow that’s some real cart before horse stuff.

Why not a literal sail, except instead of canvas it’s also made of olar panels.

Someone please educate me how dealers are supposed to be good for the consumer. Supposedly they serve to keep prices down but all I see is markups on everything.

A Ford Escape. I was hoping for a bit of cool factor, you know like some fugitive on the run vibes but it had none of that.
