Won’t apply to every AWD car out there, but Evos and STIs have smart center diffs that can and do lock under braking.

Jalopnik actually did an article on some Team O’Neal videos that showed that 4WD does brake better than 2WD in the snow. They tested a bunch of different vehicles and 4WD won the snow braking test every single time.

That sounds like the makings of a business plan. Have a place where motorized lifts can easily take RTTs on and off cars so long as they have the requisite roof racks, rent out RTTs.

I mean, cars are already pretty loud. Even without any kind of engine noise the tires themselves are loud enough that I doubt the whistles would have helped.
