Most RHD markets do it that way, except the UK which is weird and have the wiper/turn signal configured like a LHD car would.

The average person buying a Model S probably will. It’s an expensive car and thus appeals to a slightly older demographic. The people too young to get the references will be shopping for the Model 3, or like it regardless coz its fast and gadgety.
