Yeah the markets can be very different.

No the Vios is Yaris sized sedan. This is even smaller.

BMW M4 guy’s writeup was way more entertaining.

Mustang Law

Would be funny if he got the ticket thrown out along with his medical license.

I mean an alternator is pretty cool too! And since muscles move on electrical impulses rather than recycling exhaust gasses it’s arguably a closer relation to how a human body works...

Those misdemeanor charges are an absolute shame on the reputation of the city. He should have been charged with vehicular manslaughter, same as the idiot who did a fly-by in Houston a few days ago.

You know, so did the organizers for this event. So guess they’re ok since they did the same thing as the Mid Night Club guys did.

The lock cylinder and starter switch are actually two different things. A thief familiar enough with the car can theoretically disassemble the steering column and get to the switch and turn it directly with something like a screwdriver to start the car.

I really hate Ford for doing this. Many of the climate control options are buried in the stupid Sync system with no equivalent physical button.

I suppose if you synthesize the fuel by capturing carbon from the environment then it has to be carbon neutral when you burn it.

I learned about how the farming business was having their own right-to-repair problems from Louis Rossman’s channel last year. The arguments that JD and other tractor manufacturers put forward are ridiculous.

I tried rocking white wheels and got tired of dealing with brake dust very quickly.

A huge +1 on static. It’s by far the biggest bitch when it comes to shocks and sparks. Sometimes I step out of the car and get shocked when I touch the door to close it!

Maybe US chipmakers shouldn’t have outsourced all their fabrication overseas in the first place... aka when capitalism comes back to bite you in the ass!

Car looks to be in great shape for something that’s run that many miles.

Remember that anecdote about how BMW purposefully chose M10 engines that had run super high miles when selecting which ones to use in their F1 program because those would have blocks that were pretty much “proven” good? Well that’s this car, IMO.

I remember hearing about this and being disappointed that I never saw what the tires actually looked like.

Agreed. Other than a few stalwarts like David Tracy Jalopnik’s current crop of authors have been pretty shit.
