By far the worst automatic transmission I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. It’s so dim-witted and is always one gear too high, and takes forever to kick down.

Totally with the manual seat camp on this. Unless your car has memory seats manual is just so much faster.

I’m a bit surprised at that. I have three friends who each got 1Ms and for all three it is among their very favorite cars of all time. I’ve always thought of the 135i/235i as being 90% of the car for like 60% of the price.
