Maybe we’re all just disappointed that they even exist?

I don’t know about all the negativity here. Even the picture of the cast at the top of the review shows how Snyder is branching out of his normal wheelhouse. You can see him moving out of his “everything is grey” phase and into more of a “but what if it was also dirty brown?” aesthetic moment.

A long time ago, specifically 2002, in a galaxy far far away...

... but you'll wish it was

Roy’s monologue about needing a wife was like, too much “man”. A shame when it was otherwise quite a good episode. Seeing Scotty reunite with her dad was sweet, and Jennifer Jason Leigh was excellent in this one.

The only game I've played off this list was The Roottrees Are Dead, so I'll just restrict my comments to saying that was a really excellent game. Great puzzles and excellent hiding of clues in clever ways.

Not just money, we’re talking Netflix money!

I would love to hear how Matt Berry pronounces the words “series finale”

Finally, it is M.O.D.O.K.’s time to shine!!!

The fans are gonna be so annoyed when they take the one where Kang wears blackface (for a very clear in-universe reason) down from streaming forever.

Hahaha, it sure was hilarious!

I feel like we're talking at cross purposes, but I appreciate the response.

I’m not saying I would like something any better or thatc the same stories would work. But there is a fair bit of unexamined privilege in the idea that the sewers will just continue to function, because the people who maintain them either love their sewer-mucking routine, or don't have inner lives to run off and

It is a nice idea that an imminent apocalypse would suddenly cause everyone to do the sensical and kind things. It's sort of sweet.

Why not broth?

I have a hard time suspending my disbelief about some of these end-of-the-world scenarios. So everyone quits their jobs and spends time self-actualizing... but somehow there’s still flights to Tibet so this well-off family can check off their bucket list items? And who’s mixing the mai-tais on the beach? Who’s running

The Great isn’t all quite that good, but it’s extremely funny, with excellent work by both Hoult and Fanning that makes it worthwhile and, at times, great.

The end of the season was messy for sure. I hope they can come back with a rejuvenated season 3, because it does still feel like it has potential.

Well, thanks for the tip anyhow! I’m unsubscribed to Max now ever since I finished watching Scavengers Reign. We’ll see if anything pulls me back to it, maybe not until House of the Dragon comes back.
