I suppose they want to flaunt the big name somehow though, rather than a normal one or the “regular guy”, like Tony Anselmo would be. Kind of like how Ross Bagdasarian Jr. wasn’t allowed to voice the chipmunks in the live action movies due to the studios wanting a star name to be attached.

That and it was a very popular property back in the late 80's/early 90's. Most of those kids are in their 30's today and would probably be interested in finding out more about a reboot, along with any kids they might have as well. Which means readership on articles such as these.

I guess Golden Globes have all the “comedy/musical” categories, so this could work out. I just wonder if it’ll branch out more in the future because of it... guessing not though since we’d have the situations like The Martian trying to qualify as a comedy to improve it’s chances of winning.

Yup. He was born in late 1989 via Cheers, so unless they did some soap opera retcon deal, he’d be in his late 20's by now. Niles’s son would also be in his early teens.

Yeah, I think it was just him sprouting off a hypothetical more than anything. But it also shows he was open to things like that back then... truth be told, I think he was always open to reprising the role again, even when “Frasier” was winding down.

I think he did a video a few years back where he floated the idea of a Frasier spinoff centered around Frasier and Niles’s kids, with various personalities from Cheers and Frasier popping in every so often. Sounds like he’s floating some different scenarios around here.

This sounds like my best friend, who often goes into graphic detail about the terrible things he wants done to his corpse when he passes away.

I read Dave Holmes’s memoir recently and he devotes a brief chapter to Camp, basically saying that he’s always asked about him despite the fact he hasn’t seen him regularly in years. He adds though that he really had no hard feelings towards him and usually got along with him okay.

Does anyone else remember The Flintstone Kids? Do any of you remember Fred and Barney’s voices changing at certain times later on in the series?

I used Vudu somewhat, mostly because it was the first service that allowed me to get a digital copy of my DVD or Blu ray in the process through Ultraviolet. It’s not bad, and while I have some issues with the user interface, I could probably say the same thing about Amazon prime (which I use for TV shows and the like).
