Considering the rumor that came out later that the two weren’t exactly fond of each other (particularly Brokaw towards Williams), I bet Brian is doing a few back-flips this morning after finding out the news.

Guys will only say that type of thing when they’re shot down and an a-hole to begin with. That or they have severe self-confidence issues due to not being loved enough growing up or whatever.

I’m shocked we haven’t seen more drinking with all the killing and such going on, to be honest. This show has been rough for people many times!

Episodes like this are what make me realize it’s still running on all cylinders and how much I’m going to miss it.

Oh, definitely. That happens for me when I play sports as an adult. For example, I throw a football around maybe once a year, if that even. But when I do, the footwork and mechanics I remember being taught as a teenager come back to me without me even realizing it. Same for basketball shooting, etc.
