Well, still beats How I Met Your Mother stressing an ultimately non-important story point for the whole final season.

The editing in that scene was perfect. Acting, direction, the sound and visual especially... God, I love this show!

The way they showed Elizabeth as that Peter Gabriel track started overtaking the conversation was perfection, pretty much.

My school growing up always had this part of the sidewalk on the other side of the street where teens would go to smoke after classes were done. They gathered there because they knew the school couldn’t technically do anything about it since they weren’t on school property.

Imagine how tragic it’d be if Elizabeth remained staunchly “unhumane” until the end and died that way. She obviously has her cracks, particularly when it comes to the kids... so I do think that will come to a head somehow before the finale.

I think it’s the same thing when you like a band or a movie. When it’s small enough in fanbase, you feel like you’re all in it together and you’re the world’s best kept secret. I actually enjoyed this season for the most part. Only the first and last episodes were really big “mehs” on my end, really.
