It’s really bad when I can’t remember which one of the Amy Fisher movies I saw on TV (and I could have seen at least two of the three as well, for all I know).

I wonder if the grisly nature of it, along with the sexuality situations, sort of made it a bit more taboo for filmmakers to consider in the early to mid 90's? They definitely tackled it later on in some form though, like you said, including another movie with Jeremy Renner in 2002.

I notice that the people who came on board or of age during the prequel era tend to view them a bit more favorably. Makes sense, I guess, as it does with most other things out there.

Jar Jar channeling a bit of the George Washington anatomy there, I see...

Didn’t the NFL stop the non-profit thing or allow it to end? Thought I read that some time back...?

Well, that said, it is nice to see him smiling and standing in at least some sort of fashion under what could have been much, much worse consequences. Time will tell if the rest of the stuff falls together for him.

To be fair, I just had to look that up myself. And I’m usually hip enough to know my U.S. history and Rhythmic Top 40 songs from earlier this decade.

“Now that’s a company I’ve not heard in a long time. A long time.”

Come on dude... it’s not like they control all federal legislative bodies and the executive branch or something.

Not my own experience and I wasn’t actually there, but here’s an instance of where a literal translation by one parent went wrong somehow... one of my best friends growing up was lent the movie “Freddy Got Fingered” by another one of our other friends. Judge if you may, but the movie had a cult following at our high

Oddly enough, I watched 90210 and Melrose Place freely with my sister and mother, among others. Different strokes, huh?

“And that what’s-them-called Surfers band as well!” - 90s Parent

Holy crap, I was allowed to watch that one! Interesting.

Trips to my sister’s apartment allowed me and my siblings the chance to watch Beavis and Butthead. Surprisingly, my older brother took the liberty of turning the channel once or twice when he thought it was a bit too extreme for me. But we still ended up watching 95% of whatever episodes they aired while we were there.

A dental-based parody of a U2 song... both that and your Mom’s reaction is hilarious.

We had the Adam Sandler comedy album lying around at one point and I decided to give it a listen when I was 10. I was somewhat shocked by the language at times, but I doubt my parents would have cared too much by that point.

We had one of those Zindel books for our English classes during freshman year. Just two teens making out is the saltiest thing I can remember from it. Maybe?

I saw the regular cover in my sister’s cassette collection when I was 5 or so and thought “Oh wow, this must be a really rough band!” or whatever my language equivalent was at the time.

My best friend moved to our town the summer before he was a freshman in high school. He had a Backstreet Boys single packed in one of his boxes on the move up when his Dad had to stop the carand look for something. On a country road in the middle of nowhere, he searched one of the boxes and grabbed the CD out of one,
