There have been rumors in the past that the two of them were having an affair together and that it factored into Morales’ role on the show, or even her move to the West Coast recently. Some people have even speculated that one of her sons is biologically Matt’s and that her husband threatened a DNA test at one point

Right. Apparently, some people at NBC were saying that it was a ‘standard’ feature for the higher-up people. But I can’t really understand why locking from the desk is a legitimate option, unless you’re disabled or handicapped and the situation might warrant it then.

Sadly, I think the ratings and advertising dollars tend to answer most of the questions there. Maybe some people just liked the program in general and would watch anyway, but even if enough people actively disliked him, enough people either liked him or tolerated him enough to watch.

I’m a fan, but this can’t be more true if that’s even possible. At least as long as Jann is in charge there.
