Seems like he could’ve made a solid point about the importance of electricity, but used terrible, terrible examples and reasoning for the wording.

“You are Lisa Simpson.

No. It’ll just be the Ewoks cartoon from the mid-80's.

The world actually may implode if Hanks is ever caught up in doing something just as immoral. I say that only half-jokingly.

When I go to Goodwill stores now, it amazes me to see the amount of Cosby books over in the paperback section. And Lance Armstrong, for that matter.

I did wonder if that might’ve been the easiest thing for him in the end, aside from the whole blowback regarding probably coming onto a 14-year-old boy many years ago.

I watched most of this with my mother the other day when it came on TV during a weekend visit. She often bought me the VHS versions of the original series when I was young and has fond memories of that show. Her initial thoughts...

The mummies being confused over what exactly they were rising up against for was pretty funny, I thought.

Scrooge had the soft spot for Webby in the original, and it does look like he might be regaining it here.

With subtitles.

It’s what it was... a “holiday special” that didn’t set the world on fire, but didn’t exactly hurt anyone either.

Worse than the Pauly Shore show on Fox in the mid-90's?

I’m guessing Gilly: The College Years was cancelled around that same time?

Not related to DuckTales, but I did notice that I had to turn up the volume significantly for certain conversations on Law and Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders recently.

Nope, agreed on the Scrooge situation. I get that they might be trying to establish the triplets as separate personalities a lot right now, but it certainly does seem like all the adults are more or less relegated to background characters in this incarnation. So far, at least.

I took the “Mark” for Zuckerberg, of course. But “Mark Beaks” might work better anyway since it has those monosyllable names, just like a few of the titans in that industry have/had. (Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Tim Cook, et. al.)

Yeah, I also thought Mark Beaks was pretty funny for the most part (particularly when he frustrated Falcon’s attempts to get to the point). It wasn’t the best episode yet, but it was a fun in a casual way. Perhaps we’ll see Mark again and that’ll take his actions up a level or two?

Weinstein’s deal was speculated on with gossip sites and whatever else for a long time now. But there’s a huge difference between just hearing about something and then actually knowing about it with some sort of first-hand knowledge. I could see people being friendly enough with Weinstein, but not exactly setting up

Great episode (and last lines), no question.
