Yeah, I also thought Mark Beaks was pretty funny for the most part (particularly when he frustrated Falcon’s attempts to get to the point). It wasn’t the best episode yet, but it was a fun in a casual way. Perhaps we’ll see Mark again and that’ll take his actions up a level or two? 

Weinstein’s deal was speculated on with gossip sites and whatever else for a long time now. But there’s a huge difference between just hearing about something and then actually knowing about it with some sort of first-hand knowledge. I could see people being friendly enough with Weinstein, but not exactly setting up…

Data’s was the best.

I had to rewind his apology to see what he was even apologizing for. He sort of mumbled it being about someone in the news, so that’s where Twitter came in handy. I didn’t even notice his joke when he said it.

So SNL and late night shows got taken to task by a few for NOT making jokes immediately. But James Corden and South Park go after it, and Corden has to apologize. Then a sportscaster makes one some might say is innocuous as is told by producers to apologize for it.

Wow, I didn’t even put two and two together for that one. And considering they’re from Vegas too.

Oh, we all noticed... it’s just the Pumpkins captured the cultural zeitgeist at almost the same time and became the center of conversation from then on.

A little thing called the Internet came into being over two decades ago, so now we need to find stuff to talk about and analyze on an over-regular basis.

It is a bit of the “Nephews and Webby” show as of late, but maybe that has something to do with the pacing that’s been talked about here? We’ll see if Scrooge and/or Donald and gang get a bit more of an expanded role in later episodes. Particularly Scrooge, since he was pretty vital to the original series and comics…

I’m laughing out loud at least once or twice during each episode, which is a good thing.

No kidding. Opera or a classical performance, then yeah, probably a different deal. But rock shows aren’t exactly made for sitting comatose either.

I can picture the camera panning up on Thursday Night Football once it becomes a pandemic.

From a moral aspect on the guy, certainly. But I’m not sure if that’ll excuse sucker punching a guy four times or be a defense to being charged with battery.

Now I just think of the SNL skit with Mike Myers called Scottish Soccer Hooligan Weekly.

I took my Dad to McCartney one summer and we had aisle seats on the floor, and he said how glad he was to have them since he didn’t want people standing in front of him for the show.

Thankfully, my wallet allows me to make wise decisions on that behalf. Order a pizza for $10 and watch decent close-up camerawork in HD... or pay for parking, expensive beer/food and TV timeouts galore without TV commentary. Decisions, decisions!
