Same here. Then my siblings kept telling me about the original and I finally heard it on the radio one time. I still have both versions on one of those cassettes I used to record songs off "the FM" back in the day.

I've probably only ever bought one song that 69 cents. Maybe two. Otherwise, yeah, it was an excuse to add an extra 30 cents plus tax on the most popular stuff.

Darn right. Summer of '95 all over again!

It has to hit about 94% for there to be a noticeable difference. The sun's rays are that powerful. Even then, it has to get to 99% before there's something like civil twilight there.

No worries! And yeah, you were right to assume because it was a U.S. show and those do tend to be seats for them. I noticed the same thing!

Caught them live for the second time ever not too long ago. Plus, got a good deal on StubHub where someone got rid of their second row floor seats before the show, which made it better. Good show, although the amount of stereotypical suburbia present at the show threw me in a loop for awhile, haha. Chris Martin also

I've had many late nights falling asleep on the couch recently, and for that reason alone, I started watching Pawn Stars fairly regularly. I'm aware that a lot of the non-pawn stuff is probably fake or for the show, but I'll be damned if I can't get a steady dose of Chumlee in my life now.

You hear the funny sound? It's my hooves! It's MY HOOVES!

I had a friend ask me once "Perry, why do you go to the same concerts all the time?", in reference to me seeing some musicians more than one time. I responded, "I don't know. Why do you have to go deer hunting every year if you already did it once?"

It definitely helps seeing it in groups, just for the reactions or justification if you have to laugh out loud.

Thankfully, I have at least two friends who I can say "They're just like us, except they post on this spinoff site of The Onion in their comments section"

Oh man, no kidding. People will either hate it with a passion or come to at least love parts of it over time.

This Kinja thing has been rough on everyone, I see.

I've commented on message boards before, but it was usually ones for bands and their fans who talked about how much their new material stinks or how they're the equivalent of child predators for playing the same songs live every night. Places like this seem a bit more sane.

I suppose many of us can watch Breaking Bad without wanting to make drugs or sell/use them… not sure what I'm getting at here, but you make sense to me.

I've heard of it, but never actually heard it yet. Worth the time?

That sounds like a parody of the Lifetime/NBC made-for-TV movies in the 90's… but wow, the real thing, huh?
