This movie's getting worse all the time.

The Ewok flip-out would have been twenty times what it already was, that's for sure. But the fanboys would still be bickering over the director choice for Empire and why they didn't adapt Splinter of the Mind's Eye for one of the films as well.

Could also be at an age where he's like, "Eh… I might never get the chance again. Let's go for it." The five weeks of reshoots will probably help him into thinking that he'll get to the lion's share of stuff too.

Could be a situation too where they said the right things at the get-go… "Yes, we'll do it this way" or "We'll always ask before doing something different", then it doesn't exactly go that way.
