It’s not a car, it’s an SUV...... where looks and performance are intended to be underwhelming.
I think Audi is going for a model that the bumpers don’t fall off to compensate for slightly slower 0-60 times.
I think you’re looking at the wrong market if you’re only looking at performance and not the overall package...
And I hope that whatever fortune he amassed is awarded as damages to the family of the innocents he killed.
Speak for yourself, bro. I love my Autopilot and it sounds like you don’t have any experience with it. If you can trust someone to operate a vehicle, you can trust them to supervise autopilot.
It’s not right out of the gate. They’ve been building up elements for years - just like everyone else.
The problem I have with this is that for any A8 purchased this year they’re not even leaving open the possibility of turning on Level 3 automation at a future date, after further testing or regulatory approval. You’ll basically get an A8 that has the advanced sensors removed, but still costs the same as when it was…

Aren’t you just replicating the central rear view functionality doing this? What about vehicles in your blind spot (i.e. on your side, but just behind you)?
Human drivers aren’t safe. When human drivers drive toward a hazard instead of away from it as they should they are not safe.
Ugh, stop with the “they’re responsible because they called it autopilot” crap. Driver = moron. He even admitted to knowing this stretch of road was dangerous. Tesla calling it “advanced cruise control” wouldn’t change a damn thing on how people integrate with this new technology which some humans will never be bright…
Obviously you didn’t keep reading. Autopilot is not a perfect system, nor meant to be used without any human intervention. It’s incumbent upon the driver to pay attention to the road and to take over should the computer have trouble. The driver didn’t, Tesla is not to blame for his negligence and incompetence.
We never would have got past the horse and buggy in today’s litigious no-personal-responsibility society. They guy drove into a concrete wall that was visible half a mile away.
IMO the driver was to blame. He knew that particular stretch of road has issues for autopilot. He should have not used autopilot for that part of the drive. Ultimately, you are the owner/driver of the vehicle. Your life is in your hands. That’s what I was taught in life - you are your own destiny & responisibility.…
I was just marveling at that goal the other day, but this one might be more visually stunning to me. The way the ball is flying perpendicularly to him as he runs up and leaps at full extension to to meet it, just looks insane. And the air he gets...
He’s now scored in 10 straight Champions League games and 13 of his last 14.
Ronaldo’s goal was so incredible both every Juventus fan in the stadium and Billy had to applaud.
I had to applaud at my desk. (Usually reserve that for beasting a spreadsheet, but not this time!)
