I would have a lot more respect for lutz’s opinion had he not been responsible for running GM literally into the ground. For all intents and purposes (and legally) the original GM went out of buisness and the GM that exists now is actually a different company.

Have you seen how horrifically classic muscle cars were built?

They are profiting of each model S sold.

He keeps calling Tesla an automobile company. It’s not an automobile company. Tesla didn’t drop billions of dollars in Nevada to make cars, they did it to make batteries. The capital investments Tesla has made to that end in thepast 3-5 years are stratospheric, so obviously they’ve been posting losses.

It’s pretty ironic to hear Lutz talk about Tesla potentially going bankrupt when he was one of the highest people on the totem pole at GM when they went bankrupt and were subsequently bailed out by the US government.

Tell that to every british sportscar ever. Still collectible.

1. I agree.

Assault with a deadly weapon, possibly attempted murder? Yikes.

The officer almost got run over.

I can’t blame him for having his weapon drawn, and assuming the suspect was hostile.

That’s why I specified tech. Other “trickle down” policies are for other debates but things like cruise-control, AC, power steering, etc. were reserved only for flagship vehicles and can now be found on base models.

I swear I just sit here completely amazed at how Toyota just sat on their laurels with the Prius. I mean, look at the head start they had. The Prius (although uninteresting to me as a car) was simply a superb piece of engineering. Maybe they are toiling away in secret on a true masterstroke of an electric vehicle? God

You realize development of the super expensive electric cars actually makes producing the cheaper ones more viable? Trickle-down tech is a very real thing.

It’ll have something the Tesla doesn’t have. Build quality.

So your hot take is that nobody should develop a luxury electric vehicle because...Tesla already did it?

I love Uber purely for the fact that it’s killing the taxi industry. I could write a 100 page book of all the shitty cab experiences I’ve had.

I get a good laugh whenever people claim that Uber is more dangerous than taxis. I’ve had experiences in cabs with drunk/sleepy drivers, coked out drivers, creepy old men, drivers who are smoking, etc. On more than one occasion I’ve had to ask a cab driver to pull over and let me out and then call another cab. And the

Your writing ability is excellent, but your knowledge of business and law are lacking.

Look I’m no fan of Uber, the few rides I’ve taken in an Uber have been terrible and the drivers got lost, but they and other ride sharing companies have been hailed as champions for “Breaking the Monopoly of Cab companies and protectionist government policies” is under fire for not acting like a cab company? That’s
