Our bodies are not built to fight large cats. We have thin skin that doesn’t do a good job protecting our vitals from large claws and huge teeth. We’re good at problem solving and throwing things, and we’re built to do some physical things quite well, but fighting large cats and bears is not what we excel at.

Civic LX with a manual transmision.

The manual transmission is a great thing.

Are you joking? That’s an impossible proposition if you won’t utilize hybrid technology. You’re not going to get a V8 minivan that gets 40 mpg (and call it a small car).

That’ll be $225.69 please for the factory replacement.

They aren’t switching to full sized SUVs. The CUVs don’t carry the mileage penalty that their big brothers do. That said, I think it’s terribly short-sighted too.

This is a very childish statement. If your wants are objectively terrible for the planet, then you can’t get that want. Nobody needs 400-horsepower SUVs to commute with and it’s very difficult to provide evidence that emissions standards have caused any increase in vehicle prices.

Let me finish this for you; “Oh, wait...we will actually be forced to examine the damage the to the environment and inefficient bloat that comes from a culture telling itself that soccer moms need to drive an Expedition to the store to get Captain Crunch for their two kids.

Blocking Trump and keeping the higher standards seems like a (the only) way to stop the current dumbass C/SUV craze.

I’m all for CAFE stadards

What my friends actually think I do: make 37 shifts before crossing the intersection from a stop.

So Donald Trump is either incredibly stupid or amazingly racist.

Eewww, take those stickers off.

Already identified as a Sabra GT.

Daimler SP250 with a custom fastback body. It’s definitely a coach effort, but the hubcaps, wheelbase, headlights, rear fins, and everything fit.

It’s like a Sunbeam Alpine GT.

All of which is pointless, because apparently, whoever came up with the regulation didn’t consider the possiblity that multiple people could each carry a small amount of liquid and meet up after they have passed security.

9/11 essentially ended hijacking for two reasons:

How about just no TSA and go back to what it was before with just metal detectors. Why do we need the TSA? What have they done for us?

Disagree. That’s a stately, unique, simply-sweet rear end.
