Those are usually for short promo clips though; Quibi needed both orientations for the entire series.

My friend worked on a Quibi show and they had a similar backup plan, and I suspect were maybe even hoping they’d go down so they could resell the content to another streamer. But apparently they had to edit a vertical AND a horizontal version of everything, which sounds insane.

There can be valid reasons to rehome a pet, but giving one away on Twitter is like half a step above releasing them into a different neighborhood. There’s tons of orgs in LA that can do it in a way that ensures the safety of the animal.

I saw it in theaters and people were crying and sliding out of their seats during that scene. I’ve never seen that happen before or since.

It was also predicted to win last week’s box office by a large margin so there was nothing “unexpected” about that either.

They probably don’t want to remind people that regular bikes exist (and are actually a much better workout)
