It's a palomino!

I love her in "Robin and Marian" too. The autumnal tone of the whole thing, the sadness that is never too far away even when she is smiling that smile of hers… I can understand why someone would cast her as Hap in "Always."

It really does. I rarely ever buy into the anti-spoilerphobia thing about how foreknowledge doesn't ruin anything, but in this case, knowing that Bud White and Exley will end up on the same side, kicking ass in their different ways, really does ramp up my enjoyment of the film from the very beginning. Bud White is a

+10 internet points for this use of the correct, aitchless O.

I want Morena Baccarin to stick around; I even want her as Gordon's long-term significant other, which is uncanon. Although the show hasn't given her much characterization beyond what the actress herself brings into it—being utterly beautiful and charming—there have been some hints that all is not well. A few "ha ha,

I know "Titanic" had a lot of people rewatching it even while it was still playing in theaters (!), but for me "L.A. Confidential" would win that particular fight now. I could start watching "L.A. Confidential" right now, happy as a clam. I'm not really sure I ever feel like putting on "Titanic."

I thinking we're operating under the same assumption—that Jada is a Big Deal—but our conclusions diverged: I figured she was too famous to be a bona fide regular. But I think I see what you mean: She wouldn't have "gotten out of bed," as the saying goes, for a role that wasn't significant.

I've enjoyed him on "The O.C." and "Southland"; I don't think he's bringing this show down. *Maybe* an even better actor could do more with microexpressions and such, but, as you say, there's really little to work with here script-wise. As it is, his reactions can be almost funny sometimes, which is welcome.

Initially I would have guessed a romantic rival, but that dude, Flass, kinda already received a comeuppance of sorts, and I doubt that's a beat one can play twice.

I'm going to guess an asthma inhaler will be involved.

Ah, the "Do the dishes!" origin story. A classic.

Maybe—twist—he'll be an expert in Greek moldings instead.

Oh god. Will there be tableaux?

Tonight was the first time I noticed freckles on Penguin's face; I'm guessing the actor got tired of make-up or something?

He did NOT look happy about Morena Baccarin answering all the time-of-death questions.

I see, I see. Hm. In that case… Ah, I see there will be a strange meteor shower tomorrow. Be a darling and stand right under it, won't you.

LOL, indeed. I confess that I am never going to NOT watch this show, though. Morena Baccarin alone, plus some general curiosity as to how the show will handle time. (The child actors aging between seasons, the pressure to move things along Batman-wise vs. the inertia to maintain a profitably long status quo, etc.)

This is… a perfect sentence.
