OMG, why do people back down from this? I would travel to court every day for a month to ensure this man went to jail. I mean come one, dude tried to murder you on the side of the road for NO REASON, he needs a nice stay in one of California’s terrible correction facilities. This is why people are hyper aggressive on

We get it. You like Hot Fuzz.

Well the one thing that works well on a VW...

Follow the Freedom Trail.

I’m probably your hero, than. Whenever I go to a coin-op, I always bring more quarters than I need...and leave whatever is left over on the sill for the next guy to use.

Take it. Diesel particulate filter issues, intercooler icing issue, high pressure fuel pump issue and probably ten other issues I can’t think of when I think of my MK6 Golf TDI. I’m sorry, but VW builds crap these days. If you go to TDI Club.com, people will tell you, all you have to do is remove the emissions

Technically they did announce false MPG and HP/Torque because those numbers wouldn’t be achieved by legal measures.

Makes sense. It’s not like if they announced false MPG ratings, or false HP figures, it’s worse than that. They knowingly sold illegal cars to customers.

More like Diesnuts.

Resale value took a big hit because of this and a lot of owners specifically bought the car to be “Green”.

I don’t believe there should be a fix. If the owners truly want to be clean (which is the whole reason they got bought into the “clean diesel” idea in the first place) then I would just give up my car and give me money towards a new one. VW should just destroy all the affected cars and be done with it.

The only true “fix” is buying back every car, because no fix for the car exists.

I could careless about a fix, just buy this POS back so I can get on with life and get a new vehicle.

Well, the inside of my car is always spotless, but being a black car, the outside is always dirty. Perpetually dirty. Like within an hour of washing it. Don’t buy a black car.

The interior rattling plagues my ‘12 too. I wish I’d got a diesel so I could push it into the river after I got my dieselbucks.

Because we don’t keep cars forever, and don’t want to deal with the uncertainty of whether or not these will be difficult to sell in the private market, and how much they’ll fetch. We’ve already had a few non VW dealers tell us they wouldn’t even touch it on a trade. It’s a fine car, but like I said, it’s not a

If they offer me $1000 for my high mileage and now dead TDI (it died in the waiting period of Dieselgate) I will murder someone.

I actually think this is totally fair. To be fair back to Tesla though, none of those other companies are actually dumping incredible amounts of money into R&D’ing brand new full EV technology as Tesla has. Indeed, the Mission E and others are using free R&D they got from Tesla itself.

Meh. I've never had one. I've had several BMWs and all were German-made. I'm nervous about Mexico though because of the issues VW has had there.
