Every single thing about this family gives me the creeps. Like in an Omen kind of way. It’s like they are the polar opposite of the morals and values that they purport to stand for. There’s such a disconnect between what they think being a “good person” is and what actually just being decent means.

My last name is Chick, and in middle school my history teacher found out my parents were getting divorced and I was having a ~hard time~ so he ordered a bunch of fried chicken, rented Chicken Run, and the whole class got to eat and watch movies all day for “Chick Day” in honor of me.

They also like to follow you around and check out what you’re doing. They live raisins and will do tricks (okay ONE trick) for them. I like to walk around the yard with one of the hens perched on my shoulder, pretending that I’m a pirate.

Sorry, I’ll just be over here imagining Allen coming home to a house full of chickens “Allen, I just found out chickens are huggable!!”
