Dan Snyder: Get those Ok State kids on the payroll. NOW!!!
only 45 minutes? Not bad.
This is impossible. Every time a scandal breaks, Notre Dame fans knock down doors to talk about how this would never happen in South Bend and they are way too classy and they'd win a National Championship every year if they didn't have mind-boggling academic standards.
If history is a guide, it's likely those players will just be shuffled to another Catholic institution and continue their careers, the academic advisers will receive some hush money, and this whole thing will just be swept under the rug.
The great thing about Texas is that there's no solidarity among us. We are all more than happy to join with out-of-staters when they bag on parts of the state we hate.
brutal
Fucking maroons.
The builders were unavailable for comment. They were out preparing the Texas A & M Bonfire.
It's really quite simple. You see ... [clears throat] Texas.
"Here's your problem. See this support column? Looks like it was designed by a guy who learned calculus at a school which spent its money on a football stadium instead of a decent teacher."
The only problem with this game is that Glorious Leader can die of gunfire. Everyone knows that Glorious Leader will leave this world on his own terms only.
"Strategic inanity."
:Cut to a shot of Texas fans: .... the fuck did we do to deserve that potshot, Tim? Of course we aren't proud of it... or anything Longhorn football-related these days.
I'm a Texas fan. While I should say that I'm part of the "burn it down/fire Mack" crowd, I believe Davis should've at the very least been benched for the rest of the game. Zero excuses for that cheap shot.
In our defense, we're totally excoriating Davis for this play ourselves.
Yeah, I personally called Mike Davis on his cellular telephone device and encouraged him to take a cheap shot at an ISU player. You got me!
I'm a longhorn fan and I'm not proud. If it was up to me, I would be fine never seeing him wear a UT jersey again.
Kind of a disappointing, anticlimactic ending. I mean, with a minute left in the game, three timeouts, and in four down territory, Texas could easily have worked in another fumble for the refs to miss.
