I’ve been following The Root’s coverage of this story for many days now and from the comments I keep seeing I can’t help but feel as though you’ve cultivated a readership that:

Antisemitism is always treated differently than other forms of racism. 

I would have used stronger language than “makes an ass of himself” to describe his remarks about killing Jews. 

The headline emphasizes the role the students played in getting the name changed but the article never bothers to provide any explanation at all of what Lorraine Johnson and her peers actually did. Not great writing or reporting and it does Ms. Johnson and her classmates a disservice. 

Maybe he just likes money. He’s probably getting paid very well to tell white supremacists what they like to hear.

The “reality” is that’s not what he said at all.

It’s great with just the sauce and pasta but many people like to add chicken and broccoli. Try pushing the envelope by adding different items, instead. Chinese broccoli or asparagus both make great alternatives to broccoli! And consider something like scallops instead of chicken.

If there isn’t enough evidence (yeah, right) to justify charges, at a bare minimum any police officer with a bodycamera that discharges their weapon at another person without the camera running should be terminated from their job.
