I didn't start with rechargeable batteries. Also, they're working fine now so....don't know what to tell ya.

Mine was alternately not responding and eating a fresh pair of batteries a day (thank God for rechargeable batteries). The recent software update pushed to the remote seems to have fixed most issues.

The Fire Tv control app is hot garbage. Swipe to move the cursor or make a selection? What a joke. I swear they made the app hard to use so you pony up the 25 bucks or whatever when your physical remote inevitably dies.

I certainly prefer Hispanic because it’s gender neutral to me. Plus Latin(o/a/x) is a loaded ass word anyway because it harkens back to colonization anyway.
