I couldn’t agree more. Your gf does it best to me, too.
Mini retractable windmill.
I doubt it’s a requirement, other than the fact that it’s simply necessary to hold the wire in place. They must not have wanted to fuse or otherwise permanently attach the wire to the glass, itself, in the event that someone needs to replace a broken windscreen. But, still, it would seem that they could have pioneered…
If ever there were to be uniforms designed to perfectly exemplify the quality of the team wearing them, wouldn’t these be it?
Of course. That’s why it’s there. But you have to figure it’s quite low-voltage, so why couldn’t they have employed a much smaller gauge wire - also NOT encased in thick black plastic. Just poorly executed.
Really? The windshield is bigger than Oprah’s ass, and they couldn’t find a way to minimize this???
I think most of us agree that it’s not the sweetest looking girl at the dance. But that is 100% not the point. Knowing many people who already own the Model S, and from every single thing I’ve read from so many others who also own one; cross-shopping other premium brands based on looks was never (ever) in the cards.…
Exactly my point. You can’t much mess up an old Toyota truck.
Well, and no offense to Boston, but I’d be petrified to own ANYTHING nice in the city. Between the drivers, roads & weather, I’d stick with cheap transpo’.
Holy cow. Where on Earth (literally) do you live that you haven’t seen the Macan???
In my eyes, Porsche more than makes up for the Cayenne, with the exquisite Macan. It looks perfectly tailored, and has performance that eclipses 911 models from not so long ago.
I don’t know. The blue stuff in my 2005 STi held up flawlessly, and really was very nice to sit on. I doubt I’d want that on my steering wheel, but I’d gladly buy another car with similar panel inserts in the sear cushions.
What’s your point, bitch?
Again, I can’t argue one bit with that opinion. But for whatever the reason, that massive marget segment seems to be foreign to many of us Jalops...
The thing is, those mall showroom are essentially the ONLY place to buy the car. Really wild. Ironically (or maybe not) but I just saw a BMW showroom in one of our malls just last weekend. It was only large enough for two cars, and a rack of very pretentious BMW-branded shwag. Considering that BMW already has regular,…
I won’t really argue with any of that. However, as you likely know, not only does that not matter to sales, it arguably helps sales. Just like Porsche sells more Cayenne models than 911 models, I would wager that Tesla will sell way more X models than S models in the years to come.
Nice. I’ve been close a couple of times on pulling the trigger. Might still, as I’m starting to get the usual new car itch again...
Finding out they pay one of the most annoying guys the most money kind of reaffirms why I don’t watch any ESPN.
To be honest, the Model S isn’t really the most stunning looking car (especially the bland front end). It’s all about the total package.
