Bloody hell, this week has sucked. And it’s not going to improve soon. Started work Tuesday, 9 hour days through today. Supposed to work tomorrow too, but that’s still up in the air. Probably not 9 if we do, but it’s dependent on how much they get done tonight and if anything breaks down like it has been.

I thought actually knowing and interacting with people on a regular basis illustrated how awful people can be.

Oh man, a plug-in hybrid Ranger would be at the top of my list.

My head and arms are actually pretty tan right now. I can tan, but it takes a lot. I’ve been in and out of my truck in the sun a lot for the last couple months, which is what it takes. Still glow-in-the-dark under my trousers though.

Japanese look at Americans funny when we use the word “hentai.” In Japanese it literally translates into “pervert,” specifically a person.  It isn’t anything to do with “anime.”

Years ago I was taking a class with a bunch of women, most of them younger than me. One of them said something about “needing some sun” and “I’m so white.”

On that note, I just learned last week that I’m about to become a great uncle in about 6 months.  Thank goodness I don’t have enough money to bother worrying about leaving anything to anybody.  

I consider myself blessed.  (Although, I cut it so short these days what you mostly see is freckles.)
