Well I’m roughly Affleck’s age, so I find it comforting that another talented hottie is out there single, and open to someone who’s not quite as much a dick as he is.
Oh please! Oh please!
We all do understand that Harris, as Vice President, is still a part of the Senate?
Being a lawyer does not preclude one from being an idiot. I hear through the grapevine that a lot of these morons are represented by the same small group of conservative lawyers that tend to represent a lot of Trumpie people. The same kind of lawyer that has lost court challenge after court challenge.
I dunno. It might take a dedicated search. 👍 🍻
I know! Right? It’s like the writers knew back in the 80's what would happen!
I am still waiting for Trump’s head to fall off at an awkward moment. That would be four ducets well spent.
The electorate of the various states, of course. In many (if not all) states there are plenty of non-partisan elected offices. Usually judges or prosecutors or county auditors or such like that.
It makes you wonder if artists like Prince or Michael Jackson or Janis Joplin or Jimi Hendrix or John Bonham would be with us today if there weren’t enablers keeping them from support. (Damn, there’s a lot of “J” names on that list!)
I’m not sure I agree with that. How about this instead:
Can you do that? I’ll help with the colorful language!
You forgot white.
Those seams are where it has to split so you can get to the internal spaces, not where it was put together. They have nothing to do with the method of assembly. You have to be able to get inside to run wiring, switches, and other such control and suspension parts.
Not so fast there, Chester. These are all questions that have not yet been answered by the Supreme Court. I agree that’s how things should be, but that’s a very big maybe depending on how the SCOTUS would rule if such questions were brought to them.
I’d be the last person to absolve Phil Spector of responsibility for his bizarre and abusive actions, but could we at least acknowledge the fact that he suffered from mental illness? It certainly isn’t an excuse, but it is an explanation and an indictment on society that he wasn’t stopped before the bad things…
I almost hope Trumpy does decide to try blanket pardons, and tries to pardon himself. (Although it’s getting a little late in the day for him to try it.) That way we might see it get tested in the courts and we could get a definitive answer on the question.
This sounds like pretty conclusive evidence against Herr Flaxencoiff von Golfcart in his impending trial. I’m not so sure he’s going to pardon her for that.
Exactly. Congress could, for instance, pass a law that defines exactly what are “High crimes and misdemeanors” to be considered when impeaching a President. Right now it’s kinda vague.
Again, it has never been tested in court. Until then this is a legal oddity without resolution.
