What does everyone thing about Lightworks? It went open source a while ago, and even though it's still in beta, it has changed quite a bit. What do you all think?

DisplayOut works for me. It allows you to use any 30-Pin Apple to RCA cable send video. It also works outside of the video player. I also believe it is available from the sinfuliphonerepo if you wish to try before you buy. I have not used it for Facetime, but it works for everything else on my iPod.

What software do you use? I looked a bit at snapshots and I managed to edit a config file and cause my VM to be non-persistent. Are snapshots easier to handle in VirtualBox or whatever you use? I also haven't figured out how to "take" a snapshot and save multiple ones.

I agree, however without a full fledged file manager, I don't know how iOS would handle deciding what to delete. And no I have not heard of any way to do that. I would suggest trying to move some of your stuff to the cloud. Lifehacker has done several posts about that.

Yahoo is weird in that it says that you need a Plus Account in order to get POP forwarding. However, I got my yahoo account to work with Mozilla Thunderbird with this tool. I don't know what is available for Outlook and such.

I am pretty sure that all iOS devices are programmed to ensure that there is a little space left. I think it is so if you try to create a new note, or save a new contact, there will be enough space for that. However I don't have a clue why the pictures would be removed...
