Subwoofers use a 12V system. An electric car battery, like what Teslas have are 375V. That's a big difference. Also, Jeeps that go off-road smack into giant, pointy rocks a lot, but a Tesla Model S caught fire when its battery got punctured by a piece of metal on the road.

My '14 JK also has a 2.5" lift. Fuel economy depends a lot on the direction of the wind. If I've got a head wind, I get about 13 mpg on the highway, but if I have a tail wind, I can get 19 mpg.

Where you really need torque is 800-1,000 RPM so you can crawl slowly over rocks without stalling the engine.

Also, most of the Wrangler's efficiency is lost with its wind resistance. It wouldn't have a very long highway range when it's running off batteries.

The problem with the 1.4L turbo is it doesn't have much low end torque, which is what you need when rock crawling.

Except water fording and high voltage don't mix well.

I recently had the opportunity to drive an original Mini back-to-back with my original Hummer. This was a very unusual experience, and it felt a lot like that scene in Castaway where Tom Hanks is floating through the ocean on a raft made of sticks until he's rescued by a cargo ship the size of greater Baltimore.

Jeep Wrangler?

The new Beetle isn't quite as much of a chick car as the previous generation, but it's still kind of feminine. I like the classic rear engine Beetles a lot more.

That's a European Wrangler. The American one has a different front bumper and tow hooks

It must be an older Rubicon. The new Rubicons have different wheels. The one in the picture has the same wheels as the newer Wrangler Sport S.

I'll just start using my license plate number as my password for everything. It's hard to keep coming up with a password that contains number AND letters.

A standard stick shift and 3 pedal layout is so much more enjoyable to drive, even if it's a slow car. I would much rather drive a car with 100 hp and a manual transmission than a 700 hp car with an automatic transmission, it just gets boring after a while, but rowing my own gears never gets old. Manual

hahaha. I love Ace Ventura When Nature Calls

It sounds simplistic, but in a pinch, it can be a real lifesaver. Keep a ski mask or Mexican wrestling mask around, put it on, run by, take your punch, run away, ditch the mask. It's that easy. Maybe put on a jacket or something, too, just to be safe. This is your career we're talking about, after all.

It doesn't look like the damage got to the radiator though

Wow. I'm trying to decide what engine to swap into my AW11 because I would like more than 112 bhp. I would like to keep it lightweight and stick with a Toyota engine. I'm thinking 20V 4AGE, 3SGTE, or a ZZ.

I drove one and it's pretty crazy. I usually prefer a stick shift and a 3rd pedal, but with the 4C, I liked being able to keep both hands on that little steering wheel.

MY AW11 MR2 and my Jeep Wrangler satisfy my needs. MR2 is uncommon, old/classic, great on the road, and is stored during the winter. The Jeep is more common, new & covered under warranty, great off-road, and won't get me stuck during the winter when I drive though 3 foot deep snow drifts.

How? The 1.6L 4AGE is a tight fit.
