With the rear sway bar and front strut brace, it handles incredibly well, so you're willing to push it more and it sticks really well up to a point, then it breaks loose, there's no transition. It's much better on dry roads than wet roads, especially with Dunlop Direzza tires.

The snap oversteer wasn't an issue on MK1s sold in the US because they didn't come with a rear sway bar. I added one to mine, so I get snap oversteer occasionally, but it's more exciting that way.

That's why I keep my AW11 MR2 in the garage for the winter to avoid road salt.
