It’s good to know that Americans don't have the lock on being sanctimonious assholes.

Its strange but it happens. I think there was like an entire show dedicated to women who didn’t know they were pregnant. I’m guessing it’s because not all women show as much and some women get their period or spotting even when they’re pregnant and a lot of women have irregular periods. So it can happen.

If a dude can somehow get 55k to make potato salad... I don’t see why a woman shouldn’t get the same amount for having a baby.

OR JUST BE PALE THATS OKAY TOO JOIN OUR COVEN IN THE SHADE WITH THE SPF30

There was something puckish in Joffrey’s evil, probably because there was a counterweight with Tyrion mocking him, and his cowardice at Blackwater. You could almost laugh at his sadism because it was clearly a way of overcompensating for his ineptness. Ramsay just seems like a beast, assured of that his sadism is the

Especially after that dinner. She’s had experience with that kind of grandstanding and relishing in the pain of others so I think she quickly recognized what was going on. If she didn’t know before she knows now.

The smirk on Sansa’s face when he’s told he is no longer the only Bolton heir kinda make up a little bit up for it.

The Dragons eating that guy looked real. Well done special effect crew.

Except you can’t do nearly as good a job as someone else can. I can’t, and I actually have a cosmetology license, which licences me to do skin care, hair, and nails. I know what you mean about the power trip some people are on. I have experienced it myself when doing salon work. Not everyone treats manicurists that

It’s evil, but at least it wasn’t physically evil and it happened when I was old enough to defend myself and know that she was full of shit. I’ve got about three minutes of hateful observations about her failed marriages, embarrassing kids and general awfulness if she pushes me. If she literally pushes me- I’ll fold

This is a Dutch Baby. I don’t know if you guys have The Original Pancake House restaurants in your ‘hood but we do and they make ‘em delicious.

Yeah. My Mum’s awful sister was the one to tell me that detail when I was cold to her at my Grandmother’s 80th birthday party. Like that’s the time, place, or reason to disclose that information that wasn’t hers to share in the first place.

I haven’t had to break from my parents, but I’m a big encourager of those who need to do that for their mental and emotional health. I can’t stand the “but, but, but... they’re your PARENTS” people. Having sex that one time does not a family make. And neither does paying for stuff. Family is about love and support and

Ditto. Haven’t talked to my dad in 5 years and I feel light as a cloud.

Thanks for this piece, Natasha. For me it’s my Dad who I had to blacklist. I still get really tired of people who tell me “but but but he’s your Dad”. So what. He was no father. Sometimes being a Dad merely boils down to getting someone pregnant, and I resent being made to feel like I’m in his eternal debt because he

Yeah, the chances of any place that commits other labour abuses not also stealing tips are incredibly small. I think that the best response lies much more with immigration reform than Weissman makes out, but he’s right that boycotts need to be formalized/organized and that tipping more (although generally good) isn’t

Hey Jia, did you see your tweet in this write up on how to change the lives of nail salon workers? I agree with the author on funding the labor dept so they can go after the bad guys..

With all due respect, if this is satire, it’s very poorly done. Most readers of this site are educated, bright, and quite humorous. If this was even a moderately well-written satire piece, more readers would have realized it.

I would say that a properly-fitting maxi dress of good quality is universally flattering.

Most people look fine in them, actually. I look fucking marvelous in maxi dresses and you can’t tell me any different. I want to post a pic for evidence but won’t. Suffice to say, I will always love them, especially the well made ones, and they are a lifesaver in the FL heat.
