It depends on your SPF level - you can still tan because it doesn't completely block the UVA rays even at a high SPF. I know plenty of people who wear sunscreen and still get tan. It just takes longer. Now if you are wearing a physical block like zync oxide - no you will not tan. But chemical blocks don't block

Yeah, sunscreen only prevents burns, not tanning. A lot of people have this misconception though and don't wear sunscreen because of it. Sunscreen is used to protect us from skin cancer. Fair skinned people don't tan not because of sunscreen but the lack of melanin in their skin.

Hideous bottoms. The tan lines look like a giant tic attached itself to her.

These bottoms are FUG. Fabric pubes!*

You don't- you have your minions carry you.

In comparison to McGowen's dress, yes, Rihanna's is more classy.

I got kinja-ed and now I can't post it. But easypezy posted a pic of the dress below me!

I think J-Lo's dress was a stunt as well. Just less obvious.

Eh, McGowen pulled a similar stunt before J-Lo (although not classy like Rihanna):

Exactly.

I both LOVE this dress and think it's fug- courtesy of Stephanie Seymour in GnR's November Rain:

Whoa. That's hideous.

Is it meant to confuse the groom?

While this probably won't end up the ugliest it's still pretty fug:

Yeah, the 2 times I was called for jury duty in the last decade (I was not ultimately picked) the judges made a point of saying that kind of CSI evidence rarely appears in cases and that most cases are decided on the reliability of those involved. They went on to say, it was our job to decide based on who was credible

I don't know if reality shows have a specific term for it but in film editing it's called "cheating a line".

I think it's that women often associate trying things on with their emotional worth. But I really try not to do that. Even when I was thinner, a lot of clothing did not fit me right (and I had and have a fairly ideal body type and weight). I'm sure it's much more frustrating the larger your sizing is since it's so

In the 1990s I was a M or size 6 at the Gap. Now I am an XS or 2 sometimes. I weigh 20 lbs more now, than I did then.

The data re: if women don't fit into their "normal" size they give up on shopping is a little strange to me. My size changes based on the brand and I often have to bring two different sizes with me into the dressing room to see which fits better. And in New York, so many stores run out of sizes so quickly that if one

I like to shop online and I've noticed that a lot of department stores are carrying clothes like this. One thing I looked at was a "Small" which covered a size 0 to size 6. Those are not remotely the same sizes!
