Where exactly did this “tobythe sandwich” guy come from? I am sorry but you are way out of touch with the truth about the 928 on the track. The 928 was well known for absolutely CRUSHING 911's on the track! I am a 911 driver, and know better, that when a 928 appears in my rear view on the track, it would be a great

You are absolutely correct 928, aka “Drug Boy Runner”, was a DAMN FAST PORSCHE in its day. It was faster than any normally aspirated production 911 in all years it [the 928] was manufactured.

I am actually more into the CTS-V than the huge lumbering STS anything.

...and lest we forget the sports car the John Davis of Motorweek has always wanted to own—

The taillight scallop design that appeared on the 911/996 more resembled that of the 928's scalloped tail light design, more so than that of the 991 or 991.2

SLOW??? The 928 was Porsche’s fastest normally aspirated car in every year it was manufactured. A N/A 911 by comparison was actually considered ummmmm... slow. Need you be reminded that especially during the production years of the 928S4, in a factory production 928S4 Al Holbert crushed an international speed record
