First, 3.0 and 3.1 was bad, 3.11 was good. 95 was awesome compared to 3.x but NT4 was better than 95 and NT 3.5, 98 improved on 95 a little and everything went to hell in ME. You completely missed Win2K which was pure awesomness and is much better than XP.

Not if you are playing any online games. The latencies on cellular connections will make it impossible or very unpleasant. Even web-browsing will suck more since lots of web-pages are opening so many dependent connections and separate elements that some of them are not bandwidth limited but latency-limited.
