I have been pretty convinced since November that we are going to see national troops deployed against US citizens in 2017. People keep talking about a Civil War, what we could be facing could be much, much worse.

In addition, federal resources should be deployed expeditiously to protect people and property in the area of violent protests to help support state and local law enforcement efforts.

I’m on the bus to D.C., coming from the People’s Republic of Oak Park, but if there’s going to be icy weather on the route I’ll forego my space and protest in Chicago. I’m more worried about an icy Interstate than violence or problems at the protest in D.C.
