I left all of my furniture at my last place for the same reason. One of my neighbors had bedbugs. Myself and the neighbor next to me had rodents. I wanted none of it, and bailed. I left everything except my recliner, and I took it apart to make damn sure there was nothing in it before put it in storage.

Wouldn’t be the first time. Her first marriage ended because she cheated. She conveniently left that part out of Eat, Pray, Love, but she wrote all about it in a piece in the NY Times last year. Apparently, she’s never been faithful, except to her own inflated sense of self.
