And then she delivered a shitty apology. The old “I’m sorry if anyone was offended” apology. There is a certain irony that Bette is trying to stay relevant making fun of a family she considered irrelevant.

Well, as a counterpoint, I’m a gay man, so men constantly shift my needle. Bill Clinton has never in any way ever done anything for me. I think it was those pasty legs in the short shorts when he jogged in the ‘90s. Not a good look.

It’s like you read my mind. I was ready to post I didn’t think I’d find something I cared about less than 500 Days of Kristin until the oral history of Titanic.Jezebel came along.

That’s not what her tweets said. Her first tweet was “He’s not a writer on the show because we’re not making the show anymore.” People freaked out, thinking it had been canceled. Then she had to clarify that a season 5 is being planned but it won’t happen in the foreseeable future because she’s touring. No season 5

He was also on the most recent season 4. He’s Emmy nominated as a producer with her. She went out of her way to be vague about a season 5 just so she didn’t have to say she’s firing him. I bet there will be a delay in shooting a new season and he’ll quietly make it back on as a writer.

She’s getting shit on because she employs him.

Metzger is a current Emmy nominee for Schumer’s show. This isn’t some random guy she used to work with. This is someone who had major input in her most recent season. No, she’s not responsible for him. But for someone who tries to build her career on being a feminist, it’s not outrageous for people to ask her her

Um, this is a little more than some random guy she may have worked with in the past. If you look at the list of 2016 Emmy nominated producers for her show, Metzger is one of them. That means he was important enough in this most recent season to be included. I’m also assuming Amy has substantial input to who’s included

Gaga was like a black hole sucking the energy out of every scene in AHS: Hotel.

I think it’s very project dependent for both of them. Beyonce in Dreamgirls is significantly better than Gaga in AHS: Hotel. Neither will be winning any awards for their acting (Golden Globes don’t count).

I’d put that percentage somewhere between 25-40%. She hasn’t even won an Emmy which is the next easiest after a Grammy. I’d say her least likely is a Tony Award. She still could write a song to win an Oscar. But hopefully next time she isn’t as desperate in her campaigning as she was this year.

But supposedly this movie has problems of its own. According to reports and reviews, there’s a rape scene in the film that Parker and his co-writer/co-defendant added that there’s no historical evidence happened. If Fox Searchlight even bothers to send Parker on a press junket when this opens, I hope a bold reporter

You hit the nail on the head. This rape charge isn’t the only instance. I’m hoping his anti-gay comments from 2 years ago get mentioned to a wider audience as well. The guy is a grade A asshole.

Agreed, her comments are totally racist. But I hope they’re right on the changing standards for judging. Fuck “artistic” and “elegance”. This is supposed to be a sport, not the fine arts. They should be more athletic and acrobatic. Biles is performing routines with a degree of difficulty miles ahead of these

Wow, I didn’t even realize it. All I know is the photo in this article made me realize how much I miss Mad Men.

As a general rule, Oscar winning dramas don’t cost nearly as much as Ghostbusters. So if that drama fails, you’re talking a $10 million dollar loss rather than an order of magnitude larger.

I think Phelps is a different situation. He was always winning medals. Hosszu performed horribly at the 2012 Olympics with her old coach. She changed coaches and now she’s winning World Championships and setting new records. NBC may have gone overboard but it’s not ridiculous to credit the coach for the turnaround.

Seriously. God bless Orlando Bloom.

Whitney’s live performances in her prime on Youtube are nothing short of incredible.

I don’t know. Stein is starting to look almost as unqualified as Trump. I would never vote for either of them.
