Or often just for extra credit. I had to take a token psychology course in college, and we would all jump at the chance at a few easy extra credit points just by participating in simple studies run by out professors or TAs.

So is he banging other women? If not I tend agree with this comment:

This is basically the Dunning-Kruger effect. Like not precisely, but yeah basically, right? Like it explains this pretty well: these people think they’re experts because of how little they actually know about the subject.

I read somewhere that this isn’t true. *provides link*

YOGA NERD IS A FAKE DOCTOR

Can I say I love your user name? I've been here for ages and am a published feminist author and activist, and most of my comments are still in the grey—and these days I'm not a big fan of any shade of grey—whine, grumble, pout:)

I took in my mom’s dog when she decided she just didn’t want to take care of her anymore. I’m still extremely pissed off at my mom for that. I wasn’t in the market for another dog, already having one and a kid, but the options were to take the dog back to the shelter or re-home her, and I figured she’d been abandoned

I got my dog because an awful awful person who left the dog in their backyard while they move away—except they left him in the house so no one found him for days. I don’t understand how you could do such a thing. He’s like the best dog ever and is super chill and is up for either adventures or sleeping in the house

Can the Massachusetts attendees throw their tea into a nearby body of water and just drink boxed Pinot Grigio instead? If yes, please sign me up.

I will host this amazing party.

Nothing, but it's just a little reminder. People really gloss over the racism of the first wave feminists, and as a black woman it's important to me that it's not ignored.

Can we wear costumes?

I’m bringing the tea cakes! (P.S. I want to give a shout-out to my Quaker women, giving us basic civil rights and such. You can really tell by Mott’s use of “Thee.” )

I think the banning sucks, but it’s been an opportunity to add fresh voices to the mix. The regular commentariat are great, but I enjoy seeing new ‘faces.’

Coffee is how we will start the meeting of course. Otherwise no one would be awake enough to enjoy the tea!

I’m in if I can bring coffee.

Yes. I love a cucumber sandwich and a slice of fig jam on Dubliner cheese with my tea.

Finger sandwiches are great, because you get to eat so many kinds of sandwiches. So yeah, sign me up. Oh, yeah, also feminism.

I thought chocolate too. But poor Lucretia. She was awesome too. It was just that living in a world where married women were property, the right to vote probably seemed so impossibly out of reach that she thought it would be foolish to even ask for it. I mean the other wishes were like allowing married women to keep

This ladies were pretty kick ass, I mean other than Lucretia but every group has at least one Lucretia. In other news, did anyone else see these statues and think “mmm looks like chocolate”?
