Funeral is pretty much anthemic rock with a bit of lighter indie pop thrown in. I can't think of many disco grooves on their first three albums, really.

The exciting thing about getting into Deerhoof is that you pretty much never have to stop listening to them. They've released something like 15 albums in the past 20 years and show no signs of slowing down.
