I think a lot of the technology and techniques were developed for the show, so that’s gonna be expensive. 

So, that’s where this seasons effects budget went...

If only Batman and Robin used grapple guns with lines to swing from building to building, or something....

As a piss poor civil servant from Yorkshire, I feel your pain. We were gonna go in five years for my fiftieth which would give us plenty of time to save up - but I found out a few weeks ago I’ll have lost my eye sight by then, so I’ll never get to see it.

How can two great movies (and a mediocre one) inspire such a mess? 

Much like Russia after Communism took over, the Republic became stagnant with little investment in public services. The money went to military project, and the people were controlled by the state. That’s what evil despots do. 

I think they’re focusing on Aquaman, as it’s only just come out in cinemas. 

I’d completely forgotten Cyborg was in Justice League. They really wasted the character that movie.

Hang on - I thought io9 decided to hate this show because it was ‘racist’ or ‘sexist’ even though it actually isn’t?

It feels wrong not having a Star Wars movie coming out this Christmas. They really should have saved Solo for the festive season, I think it’s box office takings would have been much more successful. 

Well, they may as well wrap up SDCC now, because nothing can top this news. 

Priced to match Netflix - which has a whole load of diverse content from TV, to Film, to Documentaries - covering just about every genre out there.

So many levels of bad.

I liked having Maul in the film. It was done just right - not too much of him. I had to explain his back story to my friends that hadn’t watch Clone Wars or Rebels. They were very surprised to see him show up.

When Solo was announced I had no interest in seeing it. Having just come back from the cinema I can say I really enjoyed it. So, I guess I’ll give this a chance.
