after seeing Graham, Collins, Cocaine Mitch, etc. all get re-elected, I am starting to think that this is the wrong country for my mindset.  I’m just exhausted supporting a party that for whatever reason can’t be a piece of garbage like Trump. I know they’re not totally to blame but they’re not completely blameless

If only liberals had the extremists the Right so wants us to have.

Guessing you mean “convection oven”. “Convention oven” is a move that only the hookers at the RNC know about, and they ain’t talking.

Whatever you do, skip any gathering that is planning on having ‘people from both sides.’ Election night is Sherman’s March. Reconstruction *fingers crossed* starts in January. Tensions will be high, chill in a space where no one is going to actively make it worse.

Pennsylvania (a huge swing state) is already looking like it will be a “red mirage”, since they only start counting the mail-ins on election day. So the rural counties (in “Pennsyltucky”) will all go red and be tallied early. Philadelphia will go blue, but those votes may not be included in the count until several

They want to be able to call the election for Trump early in the evening. That puts the wheels in motion. If they can get FOX and some other media to call it, they can essentially claim it as fact. This may discourage people in the western time zones from voting once they hear that (why wait in line when my vote

Molly: Your feelings of overwhelming dread are precisely why the phrase “May you live in interesting times” is considered a curse, and not the prayer it first appears to be.

It’s amazing how much power AOC’s enemies have given her. She’s a freshmen congresswoman who normally should be a major unknown and have little power. But, they gave her tons of attention and all of a sudden she’s one of the most influencial members of congress.

“I dont have a problem with women, but I just dont like Hillary. Or Warren. Or AOC. Or Harris...”

Don’t even mind Boebert... I mean, Miss Poison Pork Sliders. That nut job needs to get shut down immediately. It’s almost like she wants to literally pistol duel AOC in the streets of Denver at approximately high noon. She would lose, of course, because she is all talk, but her tough gal rhetoric is impressive for

“Getting weird again” implies it stopped at some point.

As AOC is finding out, the Left will inevitably turn on her like they did with Warren.

How can anybody tell it’s an expensive dress? To me, it looked like an ordinary, nice, understated business suit.

Okay, but let’s examine why you thought it wasn’t a good look before Election Day. Is it because she looks nice, therefore she’s selling out or whatever, or because you thought that people were going to hate on her for looking nice? Because it’s always a lose-lose situation when you’re a woman.

Someone is sure obsessed with AOC...from great american hero Lauren’s campaign website (emphasis hers):

Working people shop at Macy’s?

It seems like this is yet another example of our income gap. I’d be curious to see how many people really leave any significant inheritance any more (outside of a house and car or whatever).

If you’re stupendously wealthy it’s a given. But for the other 99%, if you live into old age, any saved money will probably get

I’ve never asked for anything from my parents, as they are shit at managing themselves... I also have zero expectation of inheriting anything besides kitschy crap my mom has filled her house with, likely an upside-down mortgage (just basing that on their financial history, not on anything specific), and whatever death

I’m very disappointed in this article being played for laughs during evil week. I expect nothing from my parents and would be delighted if they spent every last penny on their health and happiness. The reality is that people who can afford non-negligible inheritances are the ones where the kids won’t need it anyway.

I told my father that he gave me an upbringing and an education and that was enough and to have fun and spend his last dollar on the day he dies. I expect my kids to have the same attitude.
