100% agree. Especially hearing that the work situation has changed.

I’m just gonna say I’m pretty sure he’s talked to a doctor before if he has chronic migraine. [ETA: he’s been to the hospital before with them, so it’s likely they talked about a treatment plan.] Sometimes the preventive meds don’t work for people—mine only kinda reduce my frequency, they haven’t cured me altogether.
+1. A good therapist sees around and pokes at the rationalizing a person comes up with, which I assume is this person’s thought process—that they’ll have it all figured out and not NEED the therapist. The more you think you don’t need a therapist, the more you probably do, frankly.
FYI all: This is so, so tl;dr, so I’m sorry, but it’s meant for AnonymousCommenter. I’d PM if I could! Feel free to skip.
And yes, I read that you tried medication switch-ups, but if you’re switching within the same category, it’s likely not going to help. Have you been checked for thyroid issues?
Seriously. Also I think this person is at least somewhat asexual, exacerbated by the medication side effects. As I said above, I think they need to check out some of those resources and talk to their doctor about medication switch-ups. Unless they’re literally on the only medication that works for a rare condition...…
Um, in addition to talking to a counselor or therapist, I think you might want to check out some asexual resources, since you were like this before the meds. Also, have you talked to your doctor AT ALL about the med situation and the side effects? I take a bunch of psych stuff with a bunch of sexual side effects and…
Hey Yesha, if you’re in the delivery area for one of their locations in NoVA, Paisano’s delivers zeppoles that are pretty good, and they have a giant menu. I like their stromboli and my husband likes their wings.
The writer is a woman, dipshit.
No, Claire, we must all dress to be appealing to men at all times. We are solely ornamental objects and should not consider dressing for utilitarian purposes.
I was thinking that the whole time.
OH MY GOD thank you I thought I was losing it. Who are these men even, like seriously, do they think Claire is so stupid she’d never have considered wearing regular pants, nor would she have considered the sex appeal of her overalls (AND MAYBE JUST MAYBE decided she didn’t want to BE sexy thank you)
I use a tiny wallet too. As a lady, I find that it fits in my stupidly small back pockets. Still doesn’t quite work in the front ones though.
Needs more stars!
+1. If they’re not on Facebook, it’s probably for a reason—they’re generally either bad with the internet or dislike social networking. Either way, a deluge of emails is not going to be your best option. If you’re close enough to want to send them pics or whatever, maybe just text the people with them occasionally?…
If you had way more to do... well, I do think “half” means numerically half though, if at all possible. Like, make him write some friend ones or something—I know husband and I split ours by our own families/co-workers/high school friends (we’re 30, so we didn’t share formative friends like that) first, then split…
That’s how I did it. Prioritized the notes to the (generally older) ones who would make the biggest stink, saved the millennial friends for last. And, you apparently used to have a year to do them but Emily Post (eyeroll) does say three months now. It took me six months, even with my husband taking on half of them.…
Her dad was a citizen, so she’s considered natural-born. Like Ted Cruz, born in Canada to only one American parent.
Maybe, just maybe, the problem is with our system BECAUSE that’s what working women have to do in this country for tiny infants. Props to Tammy for being able to have a very, very small concession in exchange for not having any maternity leave.
Why shouldn’t it be okay for her to bring a breastfeeding infant with her if she doesn’t even get to take maternity leave? She didn’t say that she was going to have her child around all the time, just when it was needed. This isn’t exactly a typical office environment.
