Yea, but in theory, if the kit truly had none of his DNA then it being inadmissible makes this a complete he-said/she-said. Tampering with the kit to make sure his DNA isn’t found is a benefit, flaunting that and ruining the chances of it being in court is a huge negative.

I could agree with it being possibly naive, though he may truly believe he has set his program up to be so.
