And I know this has gotten some love on here before, but check out the Wizard Mode documentary for an interesting tale of one of pinball’s best pro players.
I never played it enough to master the real thing, but it was a real thrill to beat wizard mode playing it in Pinball Arcade.
Another great way to learn the rules and appreciate the complexity of the “plots” is to play The Pinball Arcade on your favorite console. Unfortunately, they recently stopped selling the Williams/Bally tables (which are inarguably the best), but there are still some fun options.
And the twist to this tale is that pinball can be the best bang for the buck after your skills improve. I used to throw two quarters in a Simpsons Pinball Party machine on my lunch hour and would occasionally have to let my last ball drain so I could enter my initials before running back to work.
Ooh, that’s fantastic! Thanks!
YES!
Did you miss the part about it being an option? The feature isn’t even turned on by default.
Says the guy whining like a little baby. Get lost.
Moving the clock is my only complaint so far.
This is a great summary. One detail I didn’t understand in the section on gestures:

Sorry, man.
I’m unclear on when this happens. For work, I occasionally need to turn off wifi to test something. If I do that, how long before this “feature” does its thing?
I thought the headline said:
Do you really think every local hack hasn’t tried to get that scoop? There have been plenty of articles. Try Googling before coming in so hot.
Seems like someone with any sort of photoshop skills could make good use of those green screens.
It was a few times in the comments on the original article. Because it’s really fantastic.
That chicken from People’s Pig is LEGIT. You’re not a fan of Podnah’s? I don’t love their sides, but the brisket is the best I’ve ever had.
