Why do parents allow their kids to hit them??? I was waiting in line at a store and a kid who looked to be around 3 had a pacifier (he seems a bit old for a pacifier, but maybe I'm wrong) and when his mom took a book out of his hand to put it back on the shelf, he slapped her in the face. She didn't do anything!

My husband cuts our lawn every week, which is great. But he needs SO MUCH credit for this chore. "Did you see I cut the lawn?" "Did you notice I went diagonally instead of simply back and forth?" "Lawn looks great, doesn't it?" "I think setting the blade higher was a good choice, don't you?"

Alternate theory: She woke up spoiling for a fight and she found one.

Some people just gotta be mad about something or they don't know what to do with all their extra energy. Maybe Duffy should try channeling it into a conversation about sexual autonomy with her kid.

I think it does. He left his dog in his girlfriend's care while he went to serve overseas. However you feel about the troops, he's doing something for our country and I refuse to feel ashamed for being mildly patriotic. Even if we cut the patriotism, him being overseas still has something to do with it. He left his

Also it would be a good lesson to the children to return something to it's rightful owner if it was wrongfully taken from him/her/them

I read this yesterday and have been disturbed ever since. This part, I think, bothered me the most and made my blood boil. Basically, the sheriff blamed the victim:

The 70's. Especially the early and mid 70's.

Is this even up for debate? The 70s were the ugliest by far. In all of human history.

Early 2000s. No explanation necessary.

Yeah, I don't know, this sort of seems like one of those things like where, really, you have to exclude the obvious answer for this to be a fair contest. It's the 70's. It just is.

let them?

Is Florida even real? Or is it a Christopher Guest movie?

She's not necessarily commando though. She could be wearing this underneath

Me too. I can't even fathom running without underwear. I would be so uncomfortable.

I support your underwear choices, Erin. Mostly because it matches up with my ideology precisely. Underwear (or smallclothes for the GoT inclined folks here) always.

I too find people who don't wear underwear weird. Cover your junk people. It's not that hard. Everyone can see your ass and cooter in leggings (if you wear them improperly and not covered by something) and yoga pants and sometimes very clingy dresses. Even if you're built like a model, put some damn knickers on like

I think it looks cute on the mom. It shows that the mother has her daughter's back. It's an important statement.

And where is this Rule of Fashion written?

Yeah....you do seem like a bitch.

Your attitude is the exact reason why I hate engineers, across the board. I don't even feel bad about it.
