I will investigate on this. I am interested in this for several reasons. First, I like TV. Second, I enjoy other cultures' take on life. Third, I have many college students who are Asian or Indian. Knowing about these shows might possibly help me set them at ease when I advise them.
That's right! And I have been dying to see it and can't find it. Thanks for reminding me about it!
Thank you. I will see if I can get them on Netflix or through Hulu.
I'm entirely calm. You're the one lecturing and slinging curse words. I'm not being defensive. I'd also still like to know which country you live in that is NOT predominately Asian that had a successful sitcom that features an Asian family. I would indeed like to watch it, as I enjoy shows from other cultures.
Do you live in a country that has featured an Asian family in a sitcom? I mean, I would assume a predominately Asian country has, but I would love to watch the one from your country. I'm assuming you live in a country that is not predominantly Asian, but has had a successful sitcom about an Asian family—otherwise you…
Gawker media is obsessed with worshipping the British, to the point of groveling. A barely snarky article isn't evidence of any real change in attitude.
Wow. So, where's your bitter old man language? You seem to have been drinking the self loathing age Kool Aid.
Sshh. Don't let her know you are young. It's too much fun reading her horror at the thought that you might be "old."
It's hilarious that you think the word "old" is an insult. Oh, and being an old woman is especially bad in your eyes.
Wow! You really, really are defending this guy. Are you him? His publicist? A relative?
I wish I could star this ten times!
Previously, I had only one person on all of Gawker I would not exchange comments with. Now I have two.
You have my sympathy. Shaking hands would be far less invasive for a child!
In your country people hug or kiss children they just met?
Isn't that sweet that you big, strong men so graciously allow a woman to do her job? She must be super grateful to you.
Bullshit. Just google if handshakes spread germs. I have to discreetly wait to wash hands after shaking, as I suffer from an immune disorder. But before I knew I had it, I still hated the gross custom. People leave public restrooms without washing their hands all the time.
This was not a big hello situation with handshakes all around. Not was it business. I'm out in the world quite a bit.
Question: Were you encouraged to initiate a handshake at none or ten? I'm not talking about 15 year olds here.
I'm talking about kids who are 8-12. We taught our daughter, who is under 30, that it was bad form to initiate handshakes from adults she had just met.
